OREANDA-NEWS  The Deputy speaker of the Slovak parliament, Lubos Blaha, said that he would fight Russophobia and extremist ideas against Russia in his country. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

"We will never forget the sacrifice of the Russian people in World War II and will do everything to stop extremists who spread sick Russophobia and other fascist ideas against Russia," the parliamentarian promised.

In July 2023, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irina Yarovaya proposed to introduce criminal penalties for Russophobia. According to her, the deputies intend to protect not only Russian citizens from her, but also compatriots living abroad.
