OREANDA-NEWS Russian tourists in Sri Lanka were urged not to violate local laws and collect flora and fauna in the country. Such an important warning was given to fellow citizens at the Russian Embassy in Colombo.

"Such activities, even in an ordinary forest, as well as attempts to export samples from the country, entail criminal liability with a large monetary fine and a prison term," the report says.
