Earlier it became known that Moscow and New Delhi agreed to conclude a contract for the supply to India of anti-aircraft missile systems S-400. According to the assistant to the President of Russia Yury Ushakov, the document will be signed during Putin's visit. "The amount of this transaction is somewhere more than $5 billion," Ushakov said.

The decision to purchase Russian anti-aircraft missile systems by India was made against the background of the US repeatedly warned of sanctions for the purchase of S-400.
