Russian Painted Graffiti at the Emperor's Palace in Japan
OREANDA-NEWS. Japanese law enforcement officers detained a Russian citizen for putting graffiti on walls in the Akasaka Palace in central Tokyo. Currently, the emperor of the country Naruhito and his spouse Masako live there.
Gleb Pesochny was arrested, the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper reported. A young man is 23 years old. He calls himself an artist.
Police figured out a young man according to surveillance cameras installed in the area. They found him a day later at the other end of the country - in the southernmost prefecture of Okinawa. He claims that graffiti is not painted. When he was detained, a spray with red paint was found.
Allegedly, he depicted a pattern in the form of a schematic bird and the letters of the alphabet on a transformer box not far from the monarch's residence in red spray paint.
