OREANDA-NEWS Alexander Bortnikov, a 28-year-old deputy of the municipal council of the Nekrasovsky rural settlement, suspected of organizing a drug laboratory, was detained in the Yaroslavl region. This is reported by "76.ru".

According to the portal, a case has been initiated against Bortnikov on the illegal production of narcotic drugs by a group of persons by prior agreement on a particularly large scale. The court sent the official to jail for two months. He will be in custody until March 15, 2022.

He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Alexander Bortnikov is the son of Igor Bortnikov, deputy of the Yaroslavl Municipality, chairman of the Permanent Commission on the Management and disposal of municipal property.

Earlier it was reported that a criminal case of fraud was initiated against the deputy of the City Duma of Dzerzhinsk, the head of the MCU "Ritual" Natalia Migunova. According to investigators, Migunova and a group of employees subordinate to her implemented a criminal scheme for fictitious employment of citizens in the MCU "Ritual". Employed persons did not actually perform their official duties. The attackers used the proceeds for personal enrichment.

Until the end of the investigation, she was removed from the leadership of the MCU "Ritual". In addition, "United Russia", to which MP Migunova belongs, discussed the issue of temporarily suspending her membership in the party due to the initiation of a criminal case.
