OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and India have prepared an agreement on the procedure for sending military formations, warships and aircraft to each other's territories and organizing their mutual logistical support.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Defense to sign the document on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The agreement provides for sending troops to conduct joint exercises and training, provide humanitarian assistance and eliminate the consequences of natural disasters. Quantitative restrictions on simultaneous stay have been established: no more than five warships, 10 aircraft and three thousand military personnel. They can be changed by mutual agreement.
