OREANDA-NEWS  Moscow welcomes the extension of the temporary "technical understanding" between Iran and the IAEA, which creates the necessary political space to continue intensive negotiations on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program. This is stated in a comment issued on Tuesday by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We welcome the achievement of these agreements. We believe that they create the necessary political space for the continuation of intensive negotiations aimed at ensuring the sustainable and full - fledged implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for the Settlement of the Iranian nuclear program, " the diplomat said. "Close cooperation between Iran and the IAEA in the field of verification is an important stabilizing factor, a guarantee of predictability and transparency of the Iranian nuclear program, and a guarantee of the absence of proliferation risks associated with it."

The actions of the United States and Iran should be synchronized and correspond to the letter of the nuclear deal, the diplomat said.
