OREANDA-NEWS  Romania announced that it would not issue visas to any member of the Russian delegation to the OSCE PA "taking into account the Russian aggression in Ukraine," said Grigory Karasin, head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.

"A session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was scheduled in Bucharest at the end of June. So, we, the co-founder country of this organization, received a note from the Romanian Foreign Ministry. It says that "taking into account the Russian aggression against Ukraine," none of the members of the delegation of the Russian Federation will be issued visas and will not be allowed to enter the country," Karasin wrote in his Telegram channel.

The senator noted that Russia will remember this decision of Bucharest.

"Bravo, fellow Romanians! You are contributing to the destruction of this once useful organization for cooperation in Europe," the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, the leader of the LDPR and the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky told RIA Novosti that Russia is likely to part with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly if it does not receive an invitation to the next session of the organization in Romania.
