OREANDA-NEWS Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev, who is being prosecuted by the regime in Kiev, received a gunshot wound and is in intensive care in a very serious condition, says the head of the Zaporozhye public movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.

"Oleg's condition is very serious. He is currently in intensive care. There was no stabbing. Oleg was shot. I ask Orthodox people to pray for the health of the servant of God Oleg," Rogov wrote in his Telegram channel.

RIA Novosti does not have any comments from law enforcement agencies yet.

Tsarev was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from 2002 to 2014 from the Party of Regions, deputy head of the Party of Regions faction in the Rada. He was nominated for the post of President of Ukraine in early elections on May 25, 2014, but withdrew his candidacy.
