OREANDA-NEWS. According to the official agency Sputnik Armenia, Armenian residents of the city of Karvachar in Nagorno-Karabakh burn their houses before leaving.

It is noted that people take out everything they can: animals, household utensils, furniture. Some are dismantling shops, housing and substations.

The Armenian city of Karvachar is located on the territory that is to be transferred to Azerbaijan under an agreement signed by Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. This document stipulates that hostilities will cease in the conflict zone from November 10, Armenian and Azerbaijani military will stop at occupied positions and exchange prisoners. Armenia must return to Baku the Kelbajar, Lachin and Aghdam regions.

In addition, in the conflict zone, the Russian peacekeepers, who remain here, will monitor the situation and the implementation of international agreements. According to the Ministry of Defense, the peacekeeping contingent, which will be based on the units of the peacekeeping 15th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Central Military District, has 1,960 military personnel, 90 armored personnel carriers, 380 units of automobile and special equipment.
