Other negotiators also began the second day of talks on Syria in the capital of Kazakhstan with consultations. "The Turkish delegation previously met with representatives of the Syrian armed opposition", the source said. Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported that the agenda of the discussion included the exchange of prisoners, the search for missing persons and the situation in the Idlib region.

Yerzhan Mukash, director of the Asia and Africa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, noted that negotiations in the Astana format suit all participants in the meeting in Nur-Sultan.
