"Currently, direct flights between Russia and Israel continue to be carried out by Russian airlines "Red Wings" and "Azimut" on the routes Sochi - Tel Aviv, Makhachkala - Tel Aviv and Mineralnye Vody - Tel Aviv. The flights are carried out taking into account the recommendations of the Federal Air Transport Agency," the message published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
Smolenskaya Square added that up-to-date information about the flight schedule should be clarified with air carriers: Red Wings Airline +7 (495) 212-12-51; Azimut Airline +7 (863) 226-00-05. In addition, you can follow up-to-date information on the official resources of Red Wings: the official website and telegram.
"In addition, airlines individually notify passengers about schedule changes by e-mail and SMS. It is necessary to closely monitor the receipt of such messages," the message says.
The Foreign Ministry added that "carriers have been instructed to strictly comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and provide passengers of delayed flights with all necessary services, as well as to return and exchange tickets without penalties."
Earlier on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry recommended that Russian citizens refrain from visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories, and those who are already there should exercise maximum caution and maintain contacts with representatives of diplomatic and consular institutions of the Russian Federation.
The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian embassies in Israel and Palestine do not yet have information about the injured Russians as a result of the conflict between Israel and the Hamas movement.
"As far as we know, our embassies are making very energetic efforts on the spot, diplomats are working around the clock. So far, our embassies do not have any information about the injured Russians," Peskov told reporters on Monday.
Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov said that as of Monday morning, "there are no confirmed data on the dead, wounded or missing citizens of Russia" from Russian diplomats.
On October 7, rocket attacks were launched from the Gaza Strip on the southern and central regions of Israel. Dozens of Palestinian militants on trucks and paragliders entered Israeli territory from Gaza. In turn, the Israel Defense Forces announced the start of Operation Iron Swords. The Israeli authorities have officially declared that the country is in a state of war.
Hundreds of people were killed on both sides and thousands were injured.
