Putin Offered Saudi Arabia to Buy S-300 and S-400

OREANDA-NEWS. Russia is ready to help Saudi Arabia defend the country if its leadership decides to purchase Russian weapons. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“With regard to assistance to Saudi Arabia. The Qur'an speaks of the unacceptability of any kind of violence other than defending one’s kind. To protect “a kind”, our country, we are ready to provide appropriate assistance to Saudi Arabia, and the country's leadership should take measures directly, a smart decision at the state level is necessary, as Iranian leaders did earlier by purchasing S-300, and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan did this by purchasing the latest Triumph S-400 air defense systems from Russia. They will reliably protect any infrastructure of Saudi Arabia", Putin stressed.
He also confirmed that during the negotiations in Ankara with the leaders of Turkey and Iran, the situation with the attack on Saudi oil facilities was not discussed. The head of state recalled Russia's position on the crisis in Yemen. "Firstly, there is a very serious humanitarian disaster in Yemen. We ourselves are ready to help people, and we urge everyone who can do this to follow our example", Putin said.
On the night of September 14, a group of drones attacked a Saudi Aramco refinery in the east of the country. The largest oil refinery in the world was attacked near the city of Abkaik, where many Western experts live, as well as an oil refinery in the Khurais region, where the kingdom's second largest oil field is located. After the attacks on them, a strong fire broke out. The responsibility for this action was taken by the rebels from the Yemeni movement Ansar Allah (Hussites).
