OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the crisis of a modern liberal idea. In his opinion, this idea has become obsolete, since it contradicts the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population.

Putin said this in an exclusive interview with the Financial Times on the eve of the G20 summit in Osaka.

Putin noted that the current liberal idea suggests that nothing needs to be done, that migrants can kill, rob and rape with impunity, because their rights, as migrants, must be protected. This idea is in conflict with the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population, the Russian president said.
