Polish Professor Saw "Signs of Schizophrenia" in Biden's Politics
OREANDA-NEWS. According to the rector of the Jagiellonian College, professor-Americanist Grzegorz Bursky on the air of Radio Szczecin, the return of the United States to close cooperation with Germany, as well as the prevalence of propaganda and ideology in foreign policy, are alarming in Poland.
According to the professor, such a course could lead to the completion of the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
He even called this political behavior "a manifestation of schizophrenia, because, on the one hand, we hear about the indignation that Germany is building a gas pipeline with Russia and wants to provide itself with an alternative. On the other hand, Biden invites Germany to cooperate."
Bursky noted that stronger relations between the US and Germany will lead to better contacts between Washington and Moscow.
It is recalled that in December 2019, Washington imposed sanctions against the gas pipeline, as a result of which the Swiss Allseas was forced to stop laying. Work resumed a year later when the Fortuna pipelayer laid 2.6 kilometers of pipes in German waters. As a result, according to the project operator, about 120 kilometers in the waters of Denmark and about 28 kilometers in Germany remained unfinished.
