OREANDA-NEWS Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said it was impossible to achieve peace in Ukraine in any possible way.
“Peace is our common goal, but it cannot be peace at any cost. We cannot agree to a dialogue that Russian President Vladimir Putin can use, a dialogue over the heads of Ukrainians, ”La Repubblica quotes him as saying.
Morawiecki added that many leaders had already tried to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin, but it had no effect.
“Many politicians tried to negotiate with the President of Russia and it always ended in the same way - humiliation. Some Western politicians still think that Russia will eventually stop. I have one piece of advice: no need for illusions,” the Polish prime minister summed up.
It also became known that Poland announced plans to terminate the agreement on the supply of gas from the Russian Federation without waiting for the end of the year. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
