Police Neutralized Two Bombs near a Metro Station in Kiev
OREANDA-NEWS. Ukrainian police neutralized two improvised explosive devices at the market near a metro station Minska in Kiev.
This was reported by the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaly Klitschko, on Facebook. “The explosives fixed between the car and the car kiosks were defused,” the politician wrote. According to him, the message about mining was received by the police at about 12:00 local time (10:00 UTC). After that, law enforcement officers began checking this information, all people were urgently evacuated from the scene, and the dangerous area was cordoned off.
The media published a video from the scene showing that the explosion took place in an empty square.
Law enforcement agencies are working on the spot, the adjacent territory is being checked.
On July 17 in Kiev, an improvised device exploded near the metro station Shulyavska. One person was injured.
