OREANDA-NEWS Poland wants to place an American military base on the Eastern or North-Eastern border.

The world community was informed about it by the head of the office of the Prime Minister of Poland Michal Dvorchik. He stressed that it is too early to talk about a specific place, but if Washington decides, Poland would like to place an American base in the North-East or East of the country.

Dvorchik believes, that Jie AI (nickname american soldiers) will provide security not only for his country, but and for the entire region in a whole.

On September 18, the President of the United States, Donald Trump told his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda, that the States are considering the creation in Poland of a permanent military base. In response, Duda told the billionaire that his country is waiting for the appearance of american soldiers on a permanent basis and offered for the base name — Fort Trump. "Everyone understands that such a decision as the placement of permanent US bases in Poland would be a great event, would significantly affect the security of the entire region," Dvorchik said, stressing that "it is too early to talk about specific places."

"One thing is clear: we would like such a decision to be made that the base was placed somewhere on the Eastern flank, in the North-East or East of Poland," he said.

Previously, Warsaw offered Washington to host on a permanent basis the American armored division, taking over the cost of two billion dollars.

At the same time in Poland already deployed multinational combat battalion group of NATO and armored brigade of the US army. At the same time, the country decided to sharply increase the number of its own armed forces.

All this takes place under the flag of military danger from the nearest neighbor – Russia. At the same time, Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it is not going to attack any of the NATO countries. According to the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, the Alliance are well aware of the absence of Russia's intention to attack anybody, but are willing to use reason to place more vehicles and soldiers near the Russian border.
