OREANDA-NEWS. Russia is an indispensable participant in world processes and plays an important role in the international arena in maintaining peace. This was announced on Monday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Pradeep Kumar Gyavali, at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"The Russian Federation and personally Russian President Vladimir Putin continue to play an important role in the international arena, despite serious challenges. Russia’s significant experience in international politics helps Russia respond to them", he said. "Russia is an indispensable participant in world processes and plays a leading role in maintaining of the world". The previous official visit of the head of the Nepalese Foreign Ministry to the Russian Federation took place in 2005.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia and Nepal have agreed to sign an agreement on military-technical cooperation. According to the results of negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Pradeep Kumar Gyavali, the Foreign Minister made the corresponding statement.
