NATO Secretary General Accused Minsk of Involvement in the Russian Operation in Ukraine

OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus has participated in Russia's special military operation in Ukraine from the very beginning, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, Delfi reports. According to him, the involvement of Minsk in the actions of Moscow is evidenced by the fact that Belarus allegedly provided Russia with its territory for the deployment of troops.
“Belarus is participating because it has allowed its territory to be used as a training ground for the mobilization and concentration of troops. Belarus continues to support the “invasion” by providing territory, airfields, military infrastructure, and allowing Russia to use Belarusian airspace to launch strikes every day,” Stoltenberg said.
From the point of view of the NATO Secretary General, the leadership of Belarus is obliged to stop such support for Russia and prevent Moscow from using its territory to continue the special operation in Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the United States saw no signs of Belarus preparing to participate in the operation in Ukraine. A Pentagon spokesman said that the United States sees no signs that Belarus is preparing to join Russia's military operation in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
“We still see no signs that Belarus is preparing to send its troops to Ukraine,” he said.
Earlier, CNN, citing sources, reported that according to NATO estimates, Minsk is preparing to join Russia's operation in Ukraine in the near future. At the same time, it was argued that the sources of the TV channel did not see any signs of the preparation of Belarusian troops to participate in hostilities on the territory of a neighboring country. The Pentagon declined to comment on this information.
