OREANDA-NEWS Children of Russian tourists most often get sick while on holiday in Bulgaria, Turkey and Spain are also in the top three, AlfaStrakhovanie reported, having calculated where parents most often applied for medical aid on travels in 2017 and 2018.

"In the first place in the rating, as before, is Bulgaria, in 2017-2018 it accounted for almost a third (29.55%) of all calls, and the insured aged between eight and 17 years suffered most of all in this country "- said the insurer.

Turkey and Spain, although included in the top three, followed by a large margin. Every tenth request for medical aid for a child came from Turkey (10.08% of all appeals). They were sick mostly kids up to three years. Spain (9.73%) improved its performance, previously it was on the second line. There, parents of children under three years of age and children between the ages of four and seven applied equally to doctors.

In fourth place is Cyprus (6.06%), where preschoolers from four to seven years old were mostly in trouble. Closes the "top five" Thailand (5.73%), which in the past ranking was in third place. The main share of complaints in this country came to kids up to three years. The top ten also included Greece (5.3%), Montenegro (3.22%), the United Arab Emirates (2.68%), Italy (2.42%) and Germany (1.99%). Russia accounted for 2.38% of appeals.
