Migrants Left the Bruzgi Checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish Border

OREANDA-NEWS. On the Belarusian-Polish border at the Bruzgi checkpoint, in the place, in which refugees from the Middle East clashed with Polish security officials on November 16, now there are no migrants, as RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
Belarusian border guards said to representatives of the media, that all the refugees are placed in the logistic centre now.
Last week, in the woods near the Belarussian-Polish border, a quick-made refugee camp was formed, where more than 2 thousand people had been living. On 15 November, the migrants went as close to the checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish border as possible, and on November 16 they tried to attack the border and to break through it, but they were stopped by the representatives of the Polish security forces, who used special equipment against refugees.
In the evening, the Belarusian authorities organized a place for refugees to sleep in a transport and logistics center near the border, some migrants moved there from the Bruzgi checkpoint on the Polish border, and some returned to the camp in the forest belt.
Middle Eastern migrants who have been living on the Belarusian-Polish border for more than a week can be accommodated in Belarusian sanatoriums and recreation centers, chairman of the Belarusian Red Cross Dmitry Shevtsov told reporters.
"Sanatoriums, rest homes," he said, answering the question of where migrants can be taken.
