OREANDA-NEWS  The case against former US President Donald Trump is "obvious progress." This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, his words are quoted by TASS.

The politician pointed out that the progressiveness of this type of persecution of Trump lies in the fact that undesirable candidates in the elections are no longer eliminated, only charges are being brought against them.

Earlier, the court charged Donald Trump with four new charges in the case of attempted interference in the 2020 elections and the storming of the Capitol by his supporters.

Trump's press service compared his persecution to the situation in Nazi Germany in the 1930s.
