OREANDA-NEWS The McDonald's fast food restaurant chain has abandoned "diversity indicators" for its employees and suppliers. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
So, the company noted that they will not set new goals for equality and inclusivity, but continues to report data on diversity in their ranks. In addition, McDonald's representatives emphasized that they have made progress since they decided to link executive salaries to an increase in the proportion of women and racial minorities in leadership positions by 2025.
According to the source, McDonald's is the last major food company to review its diversity, equality and inclusivity policies. This has already been done by Wal mart, Ford Motor, Tractor Supply and others.
In October, consumers filed a class action lawsuit against McDonald's. The victims said they had experienced many symptoms related to E. coli found in burgers.
