OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the last summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.

"We had the opportunity to discuss global issues, hot spots on our planet. What pleased me — and I'm sure you did too — was that we didn't have any differences on the international agenda," the Belarusian leader said.

According to him, the leaders discussed internal affairs a lot, including the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Lukashenko added that the CIS members are "the most powerful and richest states", which can be projected onto the organization itself.

Earlier, Lukashenko said that he wants to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin two or three issues on which it is necessary to dot the "I". He also added that the world is changing at a furious pace, new threats and new opportunities are emerging, as well as issues that need to be addressed by the two countries.
