"An architectural project has been developed, and construction work has already begun directly. In parallel, the project documentation is being adjusted for the other remaining buildings. In 2015, construction of the Gazprom Center began on the site of the demolished Moskovsky bus station in Minsk, which was planned as the tallest building in the Belarusian capital (189 m high). The construction, worth about $1 billion, was supposed to be completed in 2018, but in December 2016 it was frozen. In 2018, a new general contractor, the Italian company Codest International, took up the project. In 2020, work at the facility resumed, but soon stopped again.
