OREANDA-NEWS  The West's requests to Bishkek to break off relations with Russia are caused by hatred of Moscow. This is how the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov commented on the calls of Western countries to end Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation, RIA Novosti reports.

Journalists asked Zhaparov about the connection of such requests from Western governments with the suspicion of Bishkek's assistance to Russia in circumventing Western sanctions.

"As a member of the United Nations, we do not work with sanctioned goods that have fallen under restrictions against Russia. Therefore, they cannot make any claims against us on this issue. There is no doubt and there can be no doubt. It's probably just hatred of Russia," the Kyrgyz leader replied.

Earlier, the policy of US sanctions was criticized by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to the leader of the republic, such a policy has no right to exist in the modern world.
