Japan Begins the Vaccination of Citizens at Workplaces and Universities

OREANDA-NEWS The country has registered more than 3.4 thousand sites for vaccination at universities and workplaces among employees of enterprises and companies. As it was explained by the General Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country Katsunobu Kato, such a strategy will increase the rate of immunization of the Japanese population.
13.7 million people have already applied for the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as part of the current immunization phase. In Japan, three types of vaccines are approved for use: from the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca, the American Moderna, and the American-German consortium of Pfizer and BioNTech. AstraZeneca is not currently being used for vaccination.
