OREANDA-NEWS  The Italian tax police have arrested the assets of Russian businessman Alexei Fedorychev. Among them is the historic Torro del Gallo Castle in the Tuscan capital, the Corriere Fiorentino newspaper writes.

Together with real estate, according to the publication, the value of the seized assets reaches $ 44.4 million. Journalists also published footage taken by security forces in the Italian possessions of the billionaire.

The assets were reportedly seized following a request for international judicial assistance sent by Kiev. In Italy, Fedorychev is a defendant in a fraud case against a Ukrainian state-owned company engaged in the sale of agricultural products. He is also suspected of bribing civil servants and money laundering. According to the SBU, the ex-owner of the Dynamo football club illegally issued the right to receive funds from the port fees of a private marine terminal in the Odessa region. The damage from the actions of the Russian tycoon was estimated at $ 6 million.
