OREANDA-NEWS After a series of devastating hurricanes, northern Italy is now under water. Lake Como, the deepest in Europe and popular with tourists, has overflowed its shores. It washes cars and motorcycles with destructive water pressure. And sparks fly from lightning strikes.

The roads of Lombardy are blocked. Heavy rains have washed away the ground, landslides are destroying houses.  The evacuation of residents began In the most affected areas.

According to the resource 3bmeteo.com, many roads in the Como area are blocked by landslides or flooded. No casualties have been reported about yet.

Local forecasters predict the improvement of the weather only by Wednesday evening. There are visible, In the frames which are filmed by eyewitnesses, eerie black streams, trees upturned with roots and cars floating upwards.
