OREANDA-NEWS At least three dead and another 16 injured were found in Chicago on July 4 after a conflict with stabbing erupted at the Navy Pier during Independence Day.

In Chicago, 16 people were injured, three more were killed in the shooting, reported in the Chicago Sun Times.

The incident happened during the celebration of US Independence Day.

According to the police, unknown persons started shooting at passers-by from the car, and then fled. Police officers were chasing the car, but when they approached it, no one was inside.

Local media noted that there was still a stabbing at the navy pier, after which a crush began.

Emergency services work on site, citizens are evacuated.
