According to BNC, the building of Syktyvkar industrial College is on fire.

According to the Ministry of emergency situations in Komi, the roof of the College burns on an area of 100 square meters. Arrived at the scene, firefighters are extinguishing. The building was empty, the educational process was not carried out, says the College administration. The causes of the fire are still unknown.

Earlier, a draft resolution of the Komi government was published on the portal of public discussion of draft regulations, according to which it is planned to unite Syktyvkar Polytechnic College, Syktyvkar industrial College and Knyazhpogost Polytechnic College. According to the document, the reorganization will lead to the fact that there will be only one educational institution — Syktyvkar Polytechnic College, which will have a branch in emve of the Knyazhpogost district.
