OREANDA-NEWS Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee, spoke about the presence of the American private military company (PMCs) Forward Observation Group in the Kursk region. In a conversation with Lenta.<url>" the deputy expressed confidence that this PMCs will eventually be demilitarized by Russian forces.

Earlier, the Forward Observation Group was noticed among the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who are involved in the attack on the Kursk region. "The United States solves its problems with the hands of private military companies. (...) PMCs are needed in order to hide the presence and interest. It is clear that the United States is involved in the conflict, but formally they seem to be out of business," Kolesnik said.

The PMCs itself declined to comment, citing a ban from Kiev.
