OREANDA-NEWS  Due to the conflict in Ukraine, Lithuanian public services began to monitor the manifestation of pro-Russian views among their employees. Since 2022, the Fire Department of the republic has fired two officers, the portal 15min reports.

"The police recorded ten cases of pro—Russian sentiments among their employees, the Department of Fire Protection and Rescue — three, and two officers were dismissed from their posts," the publication says.

It is noted that civil services mainly use preventive conversations as disciplinary measures, but one police officer was suspended from access to state secrets after the accusation.

Earlier in Lithuania, they called for shooting for Russian films and songs. According to Lithuanian TV presenter Algis Ramanauskas, children should also be taken away from parents for music with lyrics in Russian.
