In Hawaii, Seven People Were Injured in an Emergency Landing
OREANDA-NEWS A Hawaiian Airlines passenger plane flying from the American city of Auckland, California, to the city of Honolulu, Hawaii, made an emergency landing at its destination due to smoke on board.
As a result, seven people were hospitalized, CNN reported with reference to representatives of local authorities.
Smoke appeared 20 minutes before landing. On board were 184 passengers and seven crew members.
All passengers were evacuated using emergency ramps. The source of smoke and the source of ignition have not yet been established.
The injured, among whom were two children, were taken to the hospital. Nothing threatens their health.
