In Bishkek, a Fire Broke out in the White House Seized by Protesters
OREANDA-NEWS. A fire broke out in the seized by protesters White House in Bishkek, where the Kyrgyz parliament and presidential administration are located. According to the portal 24.kg, several offices on the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floors are on fire in the building.
Demonstrators informed that unidentified persons set one office on fire, and then fire spread to other premises. Firefighters came to the building, the protesters help them.
Protesters managed to break into the White House on the night of October 6, ramming the gate with a fire truck.
Another group of manifestants broke into the building of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, where the former President of the country, Almazbek Atambayev, was in jail since August 2019. After negotiations with the leadership of the State Committee, Atambayev was released. He is expected to address the demonstrators.
