In 2023, Sbermarket increased its turnover 1.6 times, to 165.6 billion rubles

OREANDA-NEWS The turnover of the delivery service from Sbermarket stores and restaurants increased 1.6 times in 2023, to 165.6 billion rubles (including VAT and promo).
The number of orders delivered amounted to 65.9 million, which is 1.8 times more than in 2022, the company said.
The growth of the company was ensured by scaling up delivery from restaurants and the development of other business lines, as well as increasing the availability and speed of the service.
During the year, Sbermarket expanded its presence, starting to operate in 200 cities of the Russian Federation. Thus, the company is now represented in more than 360 localities in the country.
"The hypermarket is developing rapidly. In 2024, we will strengthen our position in the e-grocery segment, scale delivery from restaurants, develop new directions and business verticals," Anastasia Kudryavtseva, CEO of the service, said in a statement.
The number of active customers of the service increased 1.6 times, the number of connected shops and restaurants increased 2.4 times, exceeding 65 thousand points. The service also increased the number of couriers and collectors cooperating with Sbermarket 2.1 times over the year.
Sbermarket delivers groceries, medicines, cosmetics, children's goods, pet supplies, etc. By the end of 2023, the service provides delivery from more than 160 retail chains and 25 thousand restaurants.
