OREANDA-NEWS About 600 Russian citizens cannot leave Japan due to the breakdown of the cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas, RBC writes with reference to passenger messages.
"The Spectrum of the Seas cruise liner broke down in the Japanese port of Yokohama, passengers from Russia told RBC. They estimated the number of Russians on board at 500-600 people," the publication says.
According to the newspaper, the ship was initially expected to arrive in Shanghai on November 9, but it was unable to leave the port due to technical problems.
"Now the approximate arrival time is November 11, but all Russians are burning their return tickets to Russia," the newspaper writes.
According to Royal Caribbean International, passengers will be compensated for the entire cost of the cruise.
