The ban was introduced on March 25 for a period of two weeks to prevent cases of importation of coronavirus infection. It will continue to operate until further notice. According to recent data, the number of cases of infection with a new coronavirus in Hong Kong has reached 914 with four deaths. At the same time, 75% of infections over the past two weeks are imported.

Due to the epidemiological threat, tourist, cultural, sports and entertainment facilities, all bars were closed in the metropolis, mass events, classes and exams in schools were canceled.
