OREANDA-NEWS About a third of Russians (31%) are afraid of losing their job, they feel threatened to be fired by the employer, RBC reports citing the results of a study by job search portal HeadHunter.
It is noted that Russian workers have become pessimistic about the future. Their current moods can be compared with the situation in the second half of 2020, when enhanced measures to combat coronavirus.
Such results were obtained against the background of the low unemployment rate in Russia.
At the end of April 2022, the rate in Russia was 4%. This is the lowest figure in the history of Rosstat observations since 1991, said President Vladimir Putin. Almost 13,500 people throughout Russia took part in this survey, the survey was conducted from late March to late May.
Earlier Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova stated that the number of unemployed in RF from May 23 till May 30 increased by 11.5 thousand, she added that the number of vacancies exceeded the number of unemployed citizens registered in the bodies of employment by almost 3.3 times.
