OREANDA-NEWS. Germany continues to work to maintain the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on the Iranian nuclear deal and believes that this is the best way to prevent Tehran from developing atomic weapons. This was announced on Monday in Berlin by German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas at a joint press conference with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
"Our position on this issue has not changed. We want to work with all parties to the agreement to preserve it, we still believe that this is the best way to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons", said Meath. "In this regard, we expect constructive participation from all sides in the upcoming talks", he added.
In recent days, these warnings have sounded with renewed vigor, since Tehran has, in fact, waived any restrictions in the nuclear field, and the United Kingdom, France, and Germany have decided to use the so-called dispute resolution mechanism in accordance with Article 36 of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan.
