The prosecutor demanded the court to sentence the man to a fine of 500 thousand euros for violating the law on military weapons - this law in Germany regulates operations with any weapon or ammunition during the World War II.

In addition, the pensioner is obliged to sell the entire collection of weapons, polit.ru writes. An expert invited by the prosecutor believes that some of the weapons found in the basement are still usable.

The court will make the final decision on the pensioner's case in August.
