OREANDA-NEWS The Georgian authorities have taken steps to normalize and reset relations with the United States. This was stated by Prime Minister of the Republic Irakli Kobakhidze, TASS reports.

He noted that in order to reset relations between the countries, "justice, a correct, common-sense approach are necessary," adding that Tbilisi expects appropriate retaliatory steps from Washington. At the same time, the head of the Georgian government did not specify exactly what measures were taken.

Earlier, the Georgian Prime Minister expressed disappointment in bilateral relations with the United States, stressing that the initiative to reset them should come from the American authorities.
