OREANDA-NEWS. RIA Novosti news agency reports with a reference to emergency services that two people died as a result of gas explosion in a residential building in the city of Magnitogorsk (Chelyabinsk Region, Russia).

According to TASS, citing a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two more people were injured.

It is known that the explosion occurred on the second floor of a five-story building. A fire started in four apartments. According to preliminary information, there is no threat of destruction of the supporting structures. “The fire after the gas explosion was localized, 31 people were saved,” an interlocutor of RIA Novosti reported. Open burning was liquidated by firemen.
