France Investigates "Russia's Involvement" in Protests in the Country
OREANDA-NEWS The French authorities opened an investigation of possible Russia involvement in the riots and protests of "yellow vests" in Paris. This was stated by French foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.
According to this information, "about 600 accounts connected with Moscow", using #giletsjaunes ("yellow vests"), tried to influence events in the country. What kind of "influence" suspected Russia, the Minister did not explain, saying that now the security forces are studying the information.
A member of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Franz Klintsevich in an interview called the suspicions of "Russian intervention" expected: "a couple of days ago I was surprised that the events in France is not given a certain Russian color. But there was something that was expected". According to this information, it is "impossible even technically" to influence the events in France in any way. In addition, Russia is interested in developing relations with France, the Senator said.
His colleague Sergei Tsekov stressed that the Russian side is unprofitable destabilization in France. In addition, as in all other cases of Russian accusations of anything, the prosecutors do not provide any evidence.
Earlier, we will remind, the security Service of Ukraine accused the Russian special services of involvement in protests in France. The flag of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which appeared on the streets of Paris, was considered as evidence.
Judging by the fact that the protests of "yellow vests" have already been recorded in Belgium and the Netherlands, it can be concluded that not only France, but Europe as a whole, including its most prosperous parts, are now in a systemic social crisis, which makes its countries extremely vulnerable to such social upheavals. Revolutions, Maidan and civil wars bypassed Europe, but now the era of calm is over, social contradictions have accumulated, and the political system is clearly not able to adequately respond to the challenges of society, which means that sooner or later, many European capitals will burn as today burning Paris.
