OREANDA-NEWS France has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine on Friday. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

"France has requested a Security Council meeting on Ukraine for Friday in connection with the recent events in Kharkiv," the agency's source said.

It is noted that the convening of the meeting is planned to discuss humanitarian issues.

Earlier it became known that an explosion occurred in Kharkov on June 5. It is not specified in which area of the city it occurred. According to the map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an explosion was heard in the city after an air alert was announced in the Kharkiv region.
