This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a video conference in Brussels on Wednesday.

"The fight against coronavirus will be the main theme of the first ever video conference of the NATO Foreign Ministers", he said. "NATO will not allow the global epidemiological crisis to turn into a security crisis, so the ministers will also discuss the continuation of the alliance’s operations in a pandemic".

This meeting is planned and was originally scheduled for April 2-3. The Alliance for a long time hoped that it would be possible to carry out as usual, but in quarantine in Brussels, NATO preferred the format of a video conference.
