Fanagoria plans to increase production by 16% in 2024%

OREANDA-NEWS JSC Agro-Industrial Company Fanagoria (Krasnodar Territory), one of the largest wineries in Russia, by the end of 2023, maintained the volume of wine production at the level of the previous year - 2.067 million decaliters, the company told Interfax.
The production of still wines amounted to 1.6 million dal, sparkling wines - more than 284 thousand dal, and more than 64 thousand dal of grape vodka (chacha) and 119 thousand dal of cognacs were produced.
At the same time, the company has almost fivefold increased the production of non-alcoholic products: syrup and balsamic vinegar, non-alcoholic sparkling wines, juices and grape seed oil.
"In 2024, under favorable market conditions, the company expects to produce about 2.4 million dal of products," the company said. Thus, the growth may amount to 16%.
The branded network of Phanagoria wine shops has grown to 180 outlets in different regions of the country. In 2023, 10 own stores were opened and 20 wine shops appeared as part of the development of franchising, including several in the Far East. This year, it is planned to open about 15 more own distilleries and about 25 franchised ones, the company noted. The geography is extensive, from the north-west of the country to the Urals.
The export direction continues to develop. Thus, Fanagoria supplies wines to China in an annual volume of about 800 thousand bottles. Last year, new contracts were signed with companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Abkhazia. Negotiations on supplies to Mongolia are currently underway.
Fanagoria is a full-cycle enterprise engaged in the production of alcohol, as well as the cultivation of grapes, grape seedlings, wholesale and retail trade. The company's vineyards with a total area of 4.2 thousand hectares are located on the Taman Peninsula (Temryuksky district of Krasnodar Territory) and in the area of the village of Gostagaevskaya near Anapa. In 2023, 219 hectares were laid out.
As reported, in 2023, due to drought, the gross harvest of grapes by Fanagoria decreased by 22%, to 36 thousand tons.
