OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian authorities do not hold the inhabitants of the southeast of the country for people, so Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky prepared for this region the fate of a scorched field. This opinion was expressed by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexei Zhuravko. According to him, cited by RIA Novosti, the Ukrainian authorities are ready to sacrifice the inhabitants of the south-east of Ukraine for the sake of their plans.
Zelensky prepared for the south-east of the country the fate of a scorched field, he said.
Zhuravko added that while Zelensky is in power, it makes no sense to negotiate with the Ukrainian authorities.
Earlier, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that Novorossiya could be formed on the territory of the current regions of the southeastern part of Ukraine. He admitted the possibility of uniting the central and western parts of this country into Little Russia, which could exist in the status of neutrality and non-participation in NATO within the framework of the compromise reached between Russia and the West.
Currently, Russian military personnel are conducting a military operation on the territory of Ukraine. On February 24, it was announced in a televised address by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The head of state called the goal of the operation "the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years."
