OREANDA-NEWS. The European Commission (EC) urges all member countries of the European Union to open internal borders by June 15. This is stated in an EC statement released on Thursday in Brussels.

"Some member states have already lifted restrictions within the EU, while others plan to do so from June 15, 2020. The European Commission urges other member states to complete the process of removing restrictions on free movement and lifting internal border controls within the EU by June 15, 2020", - is noted in it.

The European Commission (EC) calls on the member countries of the European Union to compile a list of states for whose citizens the external borders of the community can be opened as early as July 1.
